KisaanSay raises Rs 34 crore led by NAB Ventures to scale ops, boost farmer incomes
New Delhi: Gurgaon Based agri startup KisaanSay has raised Rs 34 crore, including Rs 25 crore from NAB Ventures, to scale operations and boost farmer incomes, said co-founder Nitin Puri.

The company plans to expand its network of farmer producer companies (FPCs) from 25 to 50 and double its product portfolio from 100 to 200 items, while entering additional categories. It currently derives nearly 80–85% of its revenue from online channels and is now looking to strengthen its offline presence beyond Delhi-NCR to cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Kala Namak Chawal – worth trying or just hype?

I recently tried Kala Namak Chawal after seeing it on Kisaansay, and honestly it’s a bit different from regular rice.

Taste is slightly earthy and light. Not like basmati, but feels less heavy after eating. Good for simple meals like dal-chawal.

Cooking needs a little adjustment (soaking + more water), but nothing complicated.

From what I noticed, it’s more about going back to traditional rice rather than expecting restaurant-style taste.

If you’re trying to eat cleaner or switch from polished rice, it’s worth trying once.
If you want typical basmati flavor, then maybe not for you.

Started soaked black raisins… small but noticeable change

I’ve been eating soaked black raisins every morning for about 2 weeks now. Didn’t expect much, but I’m actually noticing small changes.

Digestion feels better and mornings are lighter. Energy is a bit more stable, and I’m not craving junk as much as before.

Nothing dramatic, just a subtle improvement overall.

Not sure if it’s the raisins or just placebo 😅
Anyone else experienced this?
