Mini Cooper S coolant warning but the coolant level is fine – what gives?

This is driving me crazy. My 2016 Mini Cooper S has started showing a "low coolant" warning on the dash, but when I check the expansion tank, the level is right between the marks. It happens mostly after I've been driving for a while and then restart the car. The temperature gauge stays normal. I've read online that these Minis have a common issue with the coolant level sensor going bad. I found a page for Mini repair https://800sayara.com/mini-cooper-repair-dubai/ and I'm thinking of taking it somewhere that knows these cars. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it really just the sensor or could it be a sign of something worse like air in the system or a small leak? I've looked for leaks and don't see any puddles under the car. The car has 95,000km on it and I've never had cooling system issues before. Also if it is the sensor, can I replace it myself without draining all the coolant? Any tips on where the sensor is located on the B48 engine? I'm trying to avoid a shop visit for something simple but also don't want to ignore a real problem. Any advice from other Mini owners in Dubai would be great. Thanks.

Battery died twice in a month – is my alternator failing?

I'm starting to lose my mind with this car. My 2013 Hyundai Elantra has needed a jump start twice in the past three weeks. First time I assumed I left a light on, second time I was sure everything was off. The battery is only about a year old so I don't think that's the issue. A guy who jumped me said it could be the alternator not charging properly. I don't have a multimeter to test it myself. I'm looking for a shop in Sharjah that can properly test the charging system and battery together. I found Dependable Auto Mechanics Sharjah online and they mention electrical diagnostics. Has anyone used them for alternator or battery testing? How much should I expect to pay for a proper charging system test? Also if it is the alternator, roughly what's the cost for a replacement on a Korean car? I've heard horror stories about cheap rebuilds failing quickly so I'd rather pay for a quality part even if it costs more. The car has 140,000km on it so I wouldn't be surprised if the alternator is original and just worn out. Any advice on what to ask when I call a shop so I don't sound like a clueless customer? Also should I replace the battery again even though it's only a year old if the alternator was the problem all along? Really appreciate any help. Stuck at home today because I'm afraid to drive far. Thanks.

Can driving with worn shocks damage other suspension parts?

I'll admit I've been ignoring a slight bounce in my Lexus RX350 for a few months now. Money's been tight and I kept telling myself it's not that bad. But last week my mechanic pointed out that my front tyres are wearing unevenly and he thinks the shocks are the culprit. Now I'm worried I've made things worse by waiting. I finally looked up Suspension Repair Dubai to get an idea of what this might cost and I'm planning to book something next week but I'm curious about the damage I might have already caused. Besides tyre wear, can bad shocks mess up ball joints, control arms, or tie rods? My car has about 170,000km on it and I've never replaced any of those. I'm trying to figure out if I should just do the shocks or if I'm looking at a bigger front end rebuild now because I waited too long. The car doesn't make any clunking noises yet, just the bounce and the tyre wear. Does anyone know from experience how long you can drive on worn shocks before they start breaking other stuff? Also is there any safety risk I should be aware of besides longer stopping distances which I've read about? I have kids in the car daily so that's my main concern obviously. Any honest answers appreciated even if it's bad news. Better to know what I'm walking into before I go to the shop. Thanks.

ACDelco batteries – still good or just living off an old reputation?

My dad always swore by ACDelco back in the day, said they were the only batteries that lasted more than two years in a hot climate. Now I'm looking at replacing the battery in my Chevy Trailblazer and I see ACDelco is still around but I honestly don't hear people talking about them much anymore. Everyone seems to be pushing Bosch or Varta or these newer brands I've never heard of. I was doing some reading on their site (https://batteryzoneuae.com/acdelco/) and they claim to have different tiers from professional to gold which is a bit confusing. I don't mind paying more if it genuinely lasts longer but I've been burned before by "premium" batteries that died just as fast as the cheap ones. Does anyone here actually run an ACDelco in a daily driver? I'm talking real world UAE summer heat, short trips, AC on full blast all the time. Is the professional series worth the extra cash or should I just grab whatever midrange battery fits and call it a day? Also do they still make them with the handle on top? Random I know but that handle saved me a few times with my dad's old truck. Any feedback appreciated.
